Meet Our Members
Nadeemal
Nadeemal Perera, our captivating vocalist, is a third-generation artist and the grandson of the late great musician Mervin Perera. He’s also the son of musician Amal Perera. With a passion for music and a love for finer things like perfumes, clothes, shades, and food, Nadeemal’s voice is the heart of our melodies.
Nadeemal’s impressive vocal range and stage presence are the driving forces behind the band’s soulful performances, making him a captivating frontman.
Dilmin
Another third-generation artist, Dilmin Perera, boasts a rich musical heritage as the grandson of the late musician Milton Perera. The son of Dilhani Ekanayake and Priyankara Perera, Dilmin’s melodious voice and dedication to music production make him an integral part of our ensemble.
Dilmin’s dedication to music production and his ability to convey deep emotions through his vocals add a unique and resonant dimension to our songs.
Praveen
Our versatile keyboardist and pianist brings over 12 years of music industry experience to our performances. Don’t let his playful attitude fool you; Praveen’s talent on the keys is a key element of our captivating sound.

Himesh
As the oldest member of our band, Himesh Senanayake’s 12 years of music industry experience and passion for drumming make him the rhythmic backbone of our music. An avid football enthusiast and a gaming aficionado, Himesh is known for keeping the beat.
As the rhythmic heartbeat of the band, Himesh brings a steady and powerful beat to our performances, anchoring the music with his masterful drumming.
Kanishka
With 12 years of experience in the music industry, Kanishka Fernando is not only a bassist but also an incredible acoustic guitarist. Known by the nickname “Kaniya,” he adds depth and groove to our sound.
Kanishka’s mastery of the bass guitar and his multifaceted interests, from movies to cricket, make him an indispensable part of the band.
Danushka
A believer in spiritual elements, Danushka Joseph, is a seasoned musician with 13 years in the music industry. His dedication to music and appreciation for cinematic experiences enrich our performances.
Danushka, also known as “Danu”, wields the electric guitar with virtuosity, elevating our sound and channelling his spiritual beliefs into every note.
Tharindu
Tharindu Prasanga, fondly called Thappu, is our expert percussionist with 13 years of music industry experience. His proficiency in Thabla and his presentation skills add a unique flavour to our music.

Thamosha
With over 12 years of experience in the music industry, Thamosha, affectionately known as “Arnold,” plays a pivotal role as the Manager of PointFive Band. His expertise extends beyond our band, having managed a roster of well-known artists in Sri Lanka.
Thamosha’s diverse interests include listening to music, playing Badminton and Basketball, and indulging in gaming adventures. What makes him truly unique is his background as a school athlete and his proficiency as a Clarinet player.
